LVL Base Ultra has been developed for maximum flexibility in your salon: from LVL Base treatments to builders and hard gels.
LVL Base Ultra is an all-round base coat that can be used flexibly across different techniques and client profiles. It is a perfect match for builders and hard gels, as well as LVL Base/BIAB treatments. Check out all the information about this base coat below!
Ultra Base is the first base coat in the Polkadots range that is not a BIAB Base. The main difference between BIAB Clear and LVL Base Ultra is that the Ultra Base is thin and flexible and does not pinch.
“BIAB Clear / Hard Base” remains an essential product in our range. LVL Base Ultra is therefore not a replacement for BIAB Clear / Hard Base, but an additional option for your salon.
The formula provides strong adhesion between the natural nail and the product, making it an excellent choice for clients who experience lifting more quickly or for treatments where extra adhesion is desired.
With LVL Base Ultra, you cannot build up the nail. If you wish to build up the nail with a clear product, we recommend BIAB Clear / Hard Base.
Tips for specific treatments / nail types:
● If you want to build up the nail with a clear product, smooth out unevenness with a base coat, or have clients with very pronounced naturally curved nails, we recommend using BIAB Clear / Hard Base.
● With a pigmented BIAB, just like with BIAB Clear, you can apply a thicker layer or 2 layers of Ultra Base for extra protection of the natural nail. This ensures that when removing a pigmented BIAB, you can safely and neatly remove the old product from the nail.
● If desired, Ultra Base can be used in combination with BIAB Clear: apply Ultra Base first and then build up the nail with BIAB Clear.
