LVL Base X2 is the faster, more fluid and slightly pinching version of LVL Base. Developed for nail stylists who like to work efficiently and prefer a self-leveling formula that allows for quick building.
While LVL Base gives you more time and control during sculpting, LVL Base X2 has a more fluid viscosity. During application, the texture feels lighter and flows more easily, allowing the product to be placed effortlessly and built up faster. The formula self-levels beautifully while you work, allowing you to create an even application efficiently.
The X2 formula builds on the same trusted foundation as LVL Base: strong and slightly flexible. Thanks to the right balance between strength and flexibility, LVL Base X2 moves slightly with the natural nail without creating unnecessary tension.
LVL Base X2 is ideal for nail stylists who want to combine speed and a smooth building process without compromising on strength. The formula also provides the perfect base for a full-color treatment with gel polish, Xolish or any other type of color gel.
Are you new to Builder in a Bottle? We recommend starting with the standard LVL Base formula. It has a slightly more controlled texture, allowing you to take your time getting used to building and sculpting with a bottled builder gel.

Strong nails
Prepare the natural nail according to your usual routine. Push back the cuticles, remove dead skin cells from the nail plate, and gently buff the nails to remove the shine. Then remove all dust and thoroughly degrease the nail.
Apply your prep products according to the Polkadots routine. Then apply a thin base layer of LVL Base Ultra and cure for 60 seconds under an LED lamp.
Next, apply a thin slip layer of LVL Base (do not cure). Then place a bead of product onto the nail and sculpt the structure into the desired shape. Cure for 120 seconds.
Remove the sticky layer with UV Cleanser, shape the nail as desired, and buff the surface for an even finish. Finish with your favorite top coat.
