    How to Apply Acrylic Nails

    To create beautiful acrylic nails, always start with prep: file the natural nails and push back the cuticles. Clean and de-grease the nails, and apply a primer to create the perfect base. Then follow these steps to apply the acrylic:

    1. Dip your acrylic brush into the dappen dish with acrylic liquid. Swipe it along the edge of the dish to remove excess liquid.

    2. Pick up a small bead of acrylic powder with the brush and let it absorb the liquid. Make sure the liquid-to-powder ratio is correct.

    3. Apply the bead to the nail and build the nail shape. The acrylic hardens within about three minutes.

    4. Work each nail with the same care for consistent quality and a professional finish.

    5. Keep your brush clean during application using a dappen dish with acrylic liquid and fresh cotton pads. This prevents contamination of your acrylic liquid.

    6. Ideally, touch up your acrylic nails every 3–4 weeks.
