Acrylic Brushes

When creating strong, durable and beautifully shaped acrylic nails, having the right professional tools is essential. One of the most important tools in an acrylic nail service is the Acrylic Brush. The right brush gives you excellent control over acrylic powder and monomer, allowing you to sculpt the desired shape and structure with precision.

At Beauty Company, you can discover a selection of professional Acrylic Brushes suitable for different techniques and working preferences. Acrylic brushes can be purchased individually, while some are also included in complete Acrylic Kits.

Acrylic Brushes at Beauty Company

Our range includes professional-quality acrylic brushes in different shapes, materials, sizes and applications, allowing every nail technician to choose a brush that suits their personal technique.

When choosing an Acrylic Brush, consider:

  • Shape: the shape of the brush tip influences how easily you can pick up, place and sculpt acrylic.
  • Hair type: choose between synthetic bristles and natural hair, including high-quality Kolinsky hair.
  • Size: different sizes, such as size 6 through size 10, provide different levels of control and are suited to different application preferences.
  • Application: alongside traditional acrylic brushes, fine brushes can also be used for detailed Nail Art, including Precision Liners.

A good Acrylic Brush gives you the control needed to pick up an acrylic bead, place it accurately on the nail and sculpt it into the desired structure. Your choice of brush therefore depends not only on the material but also on your preferred technique and working style.

Acrylic Brushes for Nail Art

Although Acrylic Brushes are primarily designed for creating acrylic nails, certain brushes can also be excellent tools for Nail Art. Fine and precise brushes are particularly useful for creating lines, details and decorative designs.

Preparing a New Acrylic Brush

When using a new Acrylic Brush for the first time, it is important to prepare it correctly.

New acrylic brushes can contain Arabic gum to protect and maintain the shape of the bristles during transport and storage. This needs to be carefully removed before the first application.

Before use, fully immerse the brush in a dappen dish containing monomer / Acrylic Liquid. This helps soften the bristles and remove the gum. Gently wipe the brush using a clean lint-free wipe.

Always work carefully and avoid damaging the natural shape of the brush tip.

Cleaning and Maintaining Acrylic Brushes

Proper maintenance is essential for keeping your Acrylic Brush in good condition. Good brush care starts during the acrylic application itself.

When picking up an acrylic bead, use the side of the brush and place the bead directly onto the nail. Gently wipe the brush on a lint-free wipe before picking up more product. This helps prevent excessive acrylic from remaining in the brush.

Be careful when cleaning the brush and avoid damaging the tip of the bristles. A well-maintained brush tip is essential for controlled application and precise sculpting.

If acrylic residue remains, the correct cleaning method depends on the type of brush.

Cleaning Natural-Hair Acrylic Brushes

Extra care is required when cleaning brushes made with natural hair, such as Kolinsky brushes. Do not use acetone to clean these brushes. Acetone can affect the adhesive holding the bristles in place and may damage the brush.

Instead, use a dappen dish containing suitable Acrylic Liquid / monomer. Gently work the brush through the liquid and carefully wipe away any remaining product using a lint-free wipe.

Avoid leaving excessive Acrylic Liquid inside the brush, as this may cause discolouration in certain brushes.

If a deeper clean is required, an appropriate brush cleaner may be used, provided it is suitable for the specific type of acrylic brush.

Storing Acrylic Brushes

Correct storage also helps extend the life of your brushes. Acrylic Brushes should preferably be stored horizontally, rather than standing upright.

When a brush is stored upright, remaining Acrylic Liquid may move towards the base of the bristles. This can affect the construction of the brush over time.

Always ensure that the brush tip is protected and cannot become flattened or damaged during storage.

With the right brush, proper preparation and good maintenance, you can enjoy more precise application and extend the working life of your professional Acrylic Brush.
