The Diamond Bit Frustum is a versatile drill bit, suited for both the first and third step of your manicure: as preparation to get the cuticles ready for cutting the eponychium, and afterwards to further polish and refine the cuticles. Thanks to the absence of a belly and a sharp tip, the Frustum is safer and less complicated to use than the classic Flame, making it an excellent choice for beginners. The cooling grooves also allow the bit to work sharper while reducing heat build-up, so clients can enjoy a comfortable treatment and the end result stays visible for longer.
The bit is made from 100% solid tungsten carbide with a premium diamond coating made up of small, evenly distributed hexagonal grains. You choose the collar color based on your skin type: the red collar is suited to all skin types, the yellow collar is specifically meant for delicate and thin skin, and the blue collar is especially recommended for rough or strongly attached skin, though it also works excellently on normal skin. Size also plays a role – 1.8mm is ideal for strongly attached cuticles, while 2.1mm suits normal to tougher cuticles. Gently position the bit diagonally against the cuticle for an easier manicure, and keep it parallel to the nail plate for the best result.
